01 / TIMBER FLOOR INSTALLATION

New Floors, Done Right

I install solid timber, engineered and floating floors, carefully measured and cleanly laid so they sit right and last. I’ll talk you through the options — species, board width, finish — and give you an honest view on what suits your home, your budget, and the way you actually live. No upselling you into something you don’t need.

02 / SANDING & POLISHING

Bring Tired Floors Back to Life

This is the heart of what I do. Old floors that have gone dull, scratched or grey can come back to life with a proper sand and polish — and the difference is usually dramatic. I sand back to clean timber, then finish in the sheen you want: matte, satin or gloss. Done right, a tired floor looks like a brand-new one for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

03 / REPAIRS AND REFINISHING

Damage Doesn't Mean Replacement

Damaged boards, deep scratches, water marks, gaps, staining that won’t lift — these are everyday jobs for me. I’ll give you an honest assessment of what can be repaired versus what’s better replaced, and the workmanship will be neat enough that you won’t be able to tell where the old floor ends and the new work begins.

04 / FLOOR RESTORATION

Renovations & Heritage Restoration

Older homes often have beautiful hardwood floors hiding under carpet, vinyl or decades of wear. Restoration is about bringing those original boards back — lifting old coverings, repairing what needs it, and refinishing the timber so its character shows again. If you think there might be a good floor under there, I’m happy to take a look and tell you honestly what’s possible.

05 / CUSTOM FINISHES

Make It Yours

Staining, white-wash, smoked oak, dark fumed, limewash, hand-rubbed oils — if you’ve seen a finish you like, we can probably do it. Custom finishes are where you turn a standard timber floor into something specific to your home.

We’ll bring samples, do test patches on a hidden section, and make sure you’re happy with the colour and sheen before committing to the whole floor.
